About Me

Cloud and Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 10+ years of IT experience, specializing in AWS cloud architecture, reliability engineering, automation, and observability. Proven track record designing, deploying, and operating scalable, secure, and highly available systems across cloud and on-prem environments.

Hands-on experience building AI-driven platforms, including deploying self-hosted large language models (LLaMA) in a Kubernetes-based homelab, and developing LLM-powered knowledge systems using Amazon Q, Claude, and vector databases (Amazon S3 Vector, Pinecone, OpenSearch collections).

Deep experience with containerized and event-driven architectures, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CDK.

Passionate about innovation and continuous learning, maintaining an advanced homelab to experiment with cloud-native architectures, networking, cybersecurity, blockchain/Bitcoin/Crypto projects , and AI infrastructure.

Over the years, I’ve shared my journey across cloud engineering, startups, AI platforms, and decentralized technologies, with a strong focus on using technology to empower underserved communities. This includes speaking engagements, technical walkthroughs, and open discussions around emerging systems and their real-world impact.

In 2013, I discovered the Bitcoin Whitepaper, which introduced me to a world of open, permissionless, and censorship-resistant technology. That moment sparked a long-term commitment to learning, building, and community education around decentralized systems. Since then, I’ve continued to explore and apply these principles across blockchain, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.

I’ve had the honor of speaking at Boston University on topics including Bitcoin, Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Decentralized Energy (DeEn), and technology-driven initiatives in East Africa, highlighting how emerging technologies can be applied responsibly to solve real societal challenges.
